The coaching system used by Living Success has been
formulated by an Australian leading, time-tested online coaching program, ‘Beyond Success’.
Your coaching journey will begin with examining
five key areas of your life presented to you in a series of modules. Each module contains
numerous units of work, which you can work through at your own pace. Some people take a couple of
weeks to complete a module, while others take many months. The first module you’ll complete will be Module 1
Life Management. Other modules will be completed in the order most beneficial to
you.
The modules of work you’ll examine
include:
MODULE 1: Life Management
As our lives get busier and busier, it becomes
increasingly important to know the skills to balance your life. This module will point you in the right
direction. By the end of this module you will: - Possess a personal mission statement; - Understand the
meaning of ‘Life Purpose’; - Know the secrets of goal setting; - Determine your life roles and balance your
life; - Formulate a personal time management system that really works; and - Understand your own personal
time management style – the strengths and weaknesses and what to do about them.
MODULE 2: Self-Esteem
As a person seeking excellence, it is important to
have a high self-esteem. In this module, you will: - Assess your own self-esteem and identify desired
improvements; - Understand how a poor self-esteem develops; - Learn about the “approval by achievement”
syndrome and how to prevent it; - Identify your untapped personal potential; - Examine your relationship with
fear, change, criticism and judgement; and - Focus on your strengths and individuality.
MODULE 3: Money
Most of us would love enough money to be able to
live the life we dream of. This module can help you get there. You will: - Learn how to become debt free in 4
– 7 years - Discover why you don’t need money to start investing - Understand what to do to generate ongoing
personal wealth - Create a plan that will ensure future passive income - Learn the strategies for success
from people in the know; and - Understand the secret psychology behind wealth. - Formulate a new set of
financial goals; - Examine your personal financial history; - Look at your beliefs about money and why they
could be hindering your ability to make it.
MODULE 4: Communication
Effective communication is an essential skill to
enable to understand others. In this module, you’ll: - Explore the principles of effective communication; -
Discover your personal communication style and the strengths and weaknesses of it; - Learn the skills of
active listening and how to give and receive feedback; - Determine the barriers to communication and how to
fix them; - Learn how to empathise effectively; - Find out how to read body language; and
Understand how to communicate with individuals,
teams, during presentations, negotiations and when writing reports.
MODULE 5: Emotions
Psychologists and health professionals are
recognising that the key to success lies not in “IQ”, but in “EQ”. Emotional intelligence is often the key to
a person’s success in business, communication and relationships with colleagues, loved ones and themselves.
In this module, you will: - Discover why emotional balance is so important; - Understand exactly what it
means to use our emotions intelligently; - Assess your own emotional intelligence and learn how to improve; -
Recognise why emotions play a part in health and physical well-being; - Learn what we can do to subdue our
more destructive and self-defeating emotional impulses; - Find out how to communicate feelings effectively; -
Learn to read another’s innermost feelings, learn empathy and how to really listen; and - Demonstrate
personal responsibility: manage your feelings, handle stress, become more self-aware, accept your feelings
and moods.
MODULE 6: Assertiveness
Assertiveness is not aggression. Instead,
assertiveness is having confidence and the ability to speak up for yourself. For some people, this is not
easy, so this module will help you to: - Identify and measure how assertive you are in your day-to-day
interactions with others; - Discriminate between passive, aggressive and assertive behaviour and understand
the consequences of each; Understand the beliefs that underlie assertive behaviour; - Be able to ask for what you
want and say ‘no’ without feeling guilty; and - Apply assertive communication skills to a variety of
situations in both your personal and professional life.
MODULE 7: Relationships
Relationship has a unique place in our lives. It is
out of our relationship with people, places and even events that we experience and become who we really are.
In this module, you will: - Learn the purpose of relationship; - Discover differing emotional realities, due
to biological differences and different emotional worlds when you were growing up; - Be aware of the
physiological measures revealing the hidden emotional forces that hold a relationship together or destroy it.
- Develop shared emotional intelligence with your partner; - Learn how to pick the danger signs in
relationships; - Understand what makes us attracted to others and why we choose one person over any other;
and - Discover the secrets to the best relationships.
MODULE 8: Health
Radiantly good health is something we all deserve.
Unfortunately it’s not something we all possess. This module will help you gain and maintain vibrant health.
By the conclusion of this module, you will: - Assess your current state of health and fitness; - Set your own
health and fitness goals; - Understand the various factors that contribute to good or poor health; - Discover
why poor eating and exercise habits relate to self-esteem; - Learn the basics of healthy eating (and why all
those diets don’t work); - Design an exercise program that suits your goals and your lifestyle; and - Ensure
your work, home and attitudes are healthy.
MODULE 9: Leadership
Developing a positive and effective leadership
style is essential for anyone wanting to succeed. At the end of the leadership module, you will have a clear
understanding of: - The role and responsibilities of a leader; - Leadership styles and theories; - Qualities
and characteristics of successful leaders and how to foster those yourself; - Why some leaders fail and
avoiding the same traps; The basics of delegation, motivation and monitoring staff performance; - Empowering
and inspiring staff; - Leading change; and - Emotional Intelligence in leadership.
MODULE 10: Short Topics
We have a series of ‘mini modules’, which cover a
range of topics including: - Eliminating addictions and the understanding the addictive mindset; -
Meditation, stress relief and breathing techniques; - Changing your worrying pattern; - Learning optimism and
handling negative people; - Developing successful client relationships; - Job seeking skills; - Managing
pain; - Coping with depression; and - Changing habits.
